DAN 279 - Music as Dance Accompaniment

The history of music as it relates to the development of contemporary dance forms; music theory and rhythmic skills; practical aspects of working with musicians in the studio, and as part of the process of choreography. Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years. Prerequisite: permission of the instructor.
