CJR 454 - Community Reporting
Course introduces community journalism through instruction in public affairs reporting methods. Assigned to "beats" within communities surrounding Grand Valley, students will write stories of depth under deadlines. Possible beats include local government, court reporting, law enforcement, education, business, and cultural diversity within communities, including regional news. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: CJR 270.
