BIO 442 - Fish Ecology
Advanced study of fish ecology, including feeding, habitat selection, mating systems, reproduction, life history strategies, biotic interactions, behavior, survival and adaptations in marine and freshwater habitats. Emphasizes Teleost (bony) fishes in their native ranges; examples include species from around the world. (3-0-0) Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: BIO 120, BIO 121, and BIO 215, or permission of instructor; BIO 222, BIO 352, or BIO 362 recommended.
