Certificate in Graduate Tax Studies

A certificate in graduate tax studies is comprised of four graduate tax courses (ACC 622, ACC 624, ACC 627, and ACC 630), conducted in a combination of interactive video, online and traditional classroom formats. Other graduate tax courses may be substituted based on a students interests and prior academic work and/or work experience as evaluated and approved by the students faculty advisor. The certificate can normally be completed within an eighteen-month time frame (or less with approved substitutions).

A student desiring to take the certificate in graduate tax studies must meet the same admission criteria applicable to the M.S.T. Program, including an acceptable score on the GMAT exam; and must have taken a basic income tax course within five years prior to starting the program. All certificate courses qualify for Michigan State CPA CPE requirements.
