STA 215 - Introductory Applied Statistics

A technique-oriented approach to statistical problems with emphasis on applications. Descriptive statistics, probability distributions, estimation, testing hypotheses, t-test, regression and correlation, chi-square tests, one-way analysis of variance. A statistical software package will provide computational assistance. Offered every semester. Prerequisites: MTH 110 or equivalent. Fulfills Mathematical Sciences Foundation.
