SPA 307 - Death and Dying in Hispanic Literature

Examines the literary representations of and responses to death and dying within the historical and cultural context of Spain and Latin America through the reading and discussion of representative poetic, dramatic, and narrative works. Course does not count toward the major or minor when taught in English. Does not count toward Spanish major or minor. Part of Death and Dying theme. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: WRT 150 and the completion of the Philosophy and Literature General Education Foundation.
