SCI 495 - Teaching Science in the 21st Century

A study of four key aspects of biology-genetics, ecology, plant, and animal life cycles and how these can be used to teach integrated science in K-8 classrooms. Constructivist and inquiry-based science techniques are emphasized. The course is the capstone for the integrated science major. Prerequisites: Senior standing. BIO 205, SCI 319 and SCI 336 (one may be taken concurrently).
