PSY 349 - Psychology Applied to Media

Focuses on two major content areas in the analysis of media: (1) study of the ways in which humans receive and interpret visual and auditory information (an understanding of perception will be emphasized in projects and analyses of media materials), and (2) study of communication theory in media as it relates to persuasion, attitude, and opinion change. Part of Society and the Media theme. Offered fall and winter semesters.
