PHY 630 - Teaching Conceptual Physics

A study of each area of traditional physics topics focused on teaching techniques that will promote conceptualization by the students. Topics include methods of visualization, real life examples, nonmathematical techniques, small groups, and the role of Socratic dialog. (3-0-0) Offered fall semester of odd-numbered years. Prerequisites: PHY 220 and PHY 221 or equivalent.
