PHY 204 - Inquiry: Electricity, Magnetism, and Optics

Study of concepts based on readily observable phenomena in electricity, magnetism, and optics. Focuses on understanding fundamental concepts and reasoning and critical thinking skills through Discovery learning/Socratic dialog. Topics include current, resistance, voltage, power and energy; magnets, electromagnets, motors, generators; introduces optics. (Ideal for students preparing themselves for careers in education.) Fulfills Physical Sciences Foundation. Offered winter semester.
