PHI 312 - Medieval Great Philosophers

A study of one or several medieval great philosophers, such as: Plotinus, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Maimonides. Focus will be on the philosophers' writings, but attention also will be given to context and tradition. Part of Religion theme. May be repeated for credit if content varies. Prerequisite: Prior work in philosophy or permission of instructor.
