PA 662 - Nonprofit Resource and Financial Management

After a brief review of nonprofit finance and accounting, course examines resource development and fundraising. Presents a philanthropic view that fundraising should be "mission driven and volunteer-centered." Topics include direct mail fundraising, planned giving, grant seeking, and philosophies and ethics of fundraising. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: PA 520 or PA 630 (may be taken concurrently).
