MUS 302 - Music: Medieval and Renaissance Eras
A comprehensive study of the early development of European art music beginning with the musicalization of the mass, through the late Renaissance (1600). Focus on the emergence of compositional techniques, theoretical writings, and the development of musical forms. Offered fall semester on sufficient demand of odd-numbered years. Prerequisites: MUS 120.
