HST 371 - History of Gender, Family, Sexuality

Explores the history of gender, family, and sexuality in selected modern European and North American countries. It will examine how men's and women's role, the demographics of and ideas about family life, and understandings of sexuality have changed over time. Part of the Gender, Society, and Culture theme. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Completion of Historical Perspectives Foundation, or junior standing.
