ENG 236 - Introduction to Writing by Women

Introduction to the tradition of women writing in English. Emphasis on the cultural and historical contexts of British, American, and Anglophone women's writing. Course will include a variety of texts and authors, including significant attention to minority women writers. Cross-listing with WGS 236. Offered fall semester, odd years. Prerequisites: Fulfillment of the freshman writing requirement.
