ED 200 - Introduction to Education

Designed to acquaint students with the education profession. General knowledge of public schools and the historical, sociological, multicultural, philosophical, financial, and legal foundations of American education. This course will foster personal reflection, inquiry, and values clarification. Classroom observations required. Formerly ED 300. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Freshman year, second semester.
