CLS 370 - Diagnostic Microbiology 1

A study of the structure, function, and diagnostic characteristics of clinically significant viruses, parasites, and fungi, related to pathogenicity, transmission, control, and host response. Laboratory will emphasize specimen collection and diagnostic procedures for the identification of pathogenic microbes. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: BMS 212/213.
