CJ 325 - Criminal Justice and Human Rights

Major focus is on the tension between evolving definitions of human rights and criminal justice system efforts to maintain or increase levels of social control. The course also provides opportunities to study international perspectives on criminal justice institutions. Part of Freedom and Social Control theme. Offered winter semester.
