BIO 349 - The Darwinian Revolution

An introduction to the Darwinian revolution in biology and its impact on the Western world-view. Examines the power of Darwins theory of evolution by natural selection to explain the origin, history, and diversity of life on Earth including human affairs. Does not count toward a Biology major or minor. Part of the Changing Ideas: Changing Worlds theme. (3-0-0) Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: Junior Standing.
