This camp is for kids who like to write and who will be entering grades 3-5 in the fall. Our teachers inspire creativity and self-expression as campers explore various styles of stories and poems. Young writers will draft their own texts and share their voices with new friends.
NEW FOR 2026! The camp will meet on GVSU main's campus in Allendale, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Non-refundable payment is required to hold your spot. Tuition includes a t-shirt, notebook, and snacks provided each day of camp. Students will need to bring a sack lunch each day.
Summer Writing Camps is an outreach effort by the Lake Michigan Writing Project at GVSU to nurture young writers.
