Fill Out the Referral Form
Please fill out this brief form to tell us more about you and your prospective student. This begins the referral process.
Step 2
Discuss the Benefits of Attending GVSU
Our quick facts and academic programs pages are both fantastic ways to share the breadth and depth of GVSU without overwhelming your prospective student. Our virtual viewbook tells the GVSU story with photos, videos, and an interactive map of campus.
Step 3
Connect Your Prospective Student with a Recruiter
Our graduate admissions recruiters are available to help prospective students find the right program, navigate the application process, and transition into their graduate program successfully.
Step 4
Encourage Your Student to Apply
If your future Laker is ready, encourage them to start the application process. Ask them to consider applying 30 days before the start of the semester for which they intend to start to ensure we have time to process their application. Applying early also allows plenty of time to schedule an Orientation session where they'll register for classes.
