2025 Asian Student Achievement Program Welcome

Welcome!

We are looking forward to your arrival on campus this fall, and would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in Grand Valley State University’s Asian Student Achievement Program Welcome. This three-day experience is designed to welcome you to campus, help you connect with fellow students, and introduce you to dedicated and involved faculty and staff. It will also guide you in navigating the various campus and community resources available to you, with the help of the ASAP Student Mentors!

Upon completing this experience, participants will be automatically enrolled in the Laker Connections Asian Student Achievement (LC-ASAP) Program year-long program aimed at fostering an environment where students can reach their full potential at GVSU while being their authentic selves. This program offers year-round opportunities, including exploring traditional Asian crafts, attending professional development events, cultural celebrations, AAPIDA Heritage Month, and more!

Please Register before July 31st!

Contact Anna Miller if you would like to Register beyond this date
