Why did you choose to attend Grand Valley?
Grand Valley charted the high school that I went to, so I was very familiar with Grand Valley and what it had to offer. The opportunities are endless.

What do you like best about Grand Valley?
I love, love, love, love the departments that we have on campus and the people who work in those departments. For example, the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

How have you benefited from Grand Valley's liberal education foundation?
I've benefited from the liberal education here at Grand Valley because it helped me figure out what I wanted to do. It helped me find my niche, actually.

How will Grand Valley help you meet your future goals?
A lot of our professors have worked in the field that they teach. They know people and are willing to be a reference and refer you to people that will help you succeed.

How has Grand Valley's faculty made a difference in your college experience?
Faculty plays a huge role in my life. I know they're helping me get an internship.

What advice would you give to prospective students?
Get involved on campus. I'm a part of four different organizations: Student Senate, GVSU PALS, the MCP program, and the Whale Radio. I have met people that have helped me in various ways: helped me grow as a person, helped me grow academically, and help me grow socially.
