D.J. Angus

The D. J. Angus serves researchers and educational groups from her berth at Harbor Island in Grand Haven, Michigan. The vessel was built and endowed in 1985 and launched in 1986.

Length: 45 feet
Beam: 14 feet
Draft: 4 feet
Engine: Cummins 6BT5.9         Diesel
Tonnage: 22.5 tons

There is no seating on the D. J. Angus, and the vessel has limited handicapped accessibility.  Sampling areas include the Grand River, Spring Lake, and Lake Michigan.
