gvsu alternative breaks

Alternative Breaks is a student-led organization at Grand Valley State University that coordinates week-long service trips during winter, spring and summer break. These trips are affordable, take place across the country and focus on different social and environmental issues.

A group of students who are actively involved in managing honey bees at the Sustainable Agriculture Project and also manage an apiary on the Meijer Campus in Holland.

gvsu green team

The Green Team is a student run organization that focuses on promoting sustainability on-campus. This is done primarily through waste streaming in Grand Valley's dining locations and working the zero-waste football games.

gvsu student environmental coalition (SEC)

A student organization dedicated to environmental activism and spreading awareness of sustainability issues. We hope that our fellow students may learn to conserve natural resources and care more about their local environment.

gvsu farm club

A student group dedicated to promoting the social, economic, and ecological benefits of sustainable agriculture practices. All students are welcome to join no matter their level of experience with growing.

gvsu soil and water conservation society (swcs)

SWCS participates in local conservation projects, including environmental clean-ups, habitat restorations, and similar community service activities.
