Peer Learning Programs

The Pew FTLC staff respond to the needs of the faculty and the campus community. Our programs foster dialog and community-building around teaching and learning.

Faculty Learning Communities

Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) bring faculty together to work on projects of mutual interest. This coming year, we offer several new FLC opportunities. Each FLC consists of a facilitator and a group of 8-12 faculty.  All faculty are eligible to participate. The groups meet over the course of a semester or year, working on either collaborative or parallel projects.

Teaching Circles

Teaching circles are designed to facilitate faculty dialogue related to an aspect of teaching and/or learning. What is required of participants is a commitment to meet on a regular basis - frequency and times to be set by the group - and a desire to learn and contribute to the group.
