Ethical Guidelines

We promise all of our clients that we will:

1. Provide services to all faculty regardless of rank or appointment,

2. Treat clients fairly, respecting their uniqueness and their abilities to set objectives and make decisions,

3. Protect all privileged information, and

4. Assist faculty when we can provide useful assistance and suggest other resources to meet needs we cannot address.

Information about specific individuals who utilize services provided by the Center is confidential and will not be released for purposes of faculty evaluation, promotion, tenure, or salary adjustment. The Pew FTLC may use information that does not reveal faculty identity for educational and reporting purposes.

We follow the Ethical Guidelines for Education Developers set forth by our professional organization, the Professional and Organization Development Network in Higher Education.
