Description:

In 2007 GVSU student leaders decided to demonstrate their leadership in helping out fellow students with the rising cost of college tuition. Together the student leadership decided that it would be fitting to establish a scholarship and leave a lasting legacy by initiating a scholarship. They believed it demonstrated their continued commitment to affordable learning by investing in their peers.

Eligibility:

• Undergraduate Students entering their junior or senior year
• Must be enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Available to both U.S. and International students
• Must be currently involved in the community (on or off campus, volunteer or philanthropic activities.)
• Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need 
• Transfer candidates must be accepted by GVSU for enrollment and be attending the university
