About
Michael oversees all projects related to communications stemming from the Charter Schools Office. He is primarily responsible for creating strategic support systems to help GVSU's charter schools enhance their communication channels and messaging, as well as exploring opportunities for further partnership with the GVSU community. He also manages the development of the office's communication channels and accounts.
Michael received a B.A. in Broadcasting and Journalism from Grand Valley State University and completed his M.S. in Communications in 2018. He is also PRSA-certified in crisis communication. He occasionally serves as an adjunct professor for the GVSU School of Communication, teaching courses related to issues in communication. He previously worked in television production for the NBC and PBS-affiliate stations in Grand Rapids, MI.
