Look for a new CLAS Weekly in June

Starting in June 7, you will see some changes to the weekly mailing. This includes a new format, streamlined content, a submission form, and a new publication schedule. September – May, we will continue to publish weekly. June-August, we will publish every other week. Publication dates for the summer are: June 7, June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16, and August 30.

Michigan Autism Conference Call for Posters 
The Michigan Autism Conference is seeking submissions for research-focused and personal journey posters for their annual conference on October 11-13, 2023. Posters should be evidence-based, focusing on service delivery and support for autistic individuals/individuals diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities. Personal stories from the perspective of an autistic individual/individual diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities, OR posters aimed at sharing the positive impact of caring for or delivering services to autistic individuals/ individuals diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities will also be considered. Submissions will be accepted through July 30, 2023. Submitting authors will be notified of acceptance by August 7, 2023. More information: www.Michiganautismconference.org.

  • 5 Steps for Course Design webinars, to walk you through your course build
  • eLearning virtual office hours

All faculty have access to the Ultra Self-Paced Training through their Blackboard login.  To practice what you learn in the training or self-paced course, all faculty members also have an Ultra Practice Course found under the Sandbox menu selection in Blackboard. Adjuncts can start getting familiar with Ultra and building their courses prior to the semester. Ask your Professional Support Staff or Department Chair to request a temp account and access to a Sandbox practice course.
