As a part of the Music, Theatre, and Dance Department, the program prepares students for careers in the entertainment industry and for careers that require skills in creativity, collaboration, communications, and problem-solving. It provides professional orientation and background within a broad liberal arts framework.

Parking is always free after 6:30 p.m. during weekdays and free all weekend throughout the season! Park in Lots H & K or the Kirkhof Parking Lot. The Haas Center for Performing Arts is adjacent to the Kirkhof Center.

April 13 - Lake Experience Day! High school and college transfers, plan on attending our 2018 Lake Experience Days for Theatre, April 13, from 1pm to 3pm. For more information, call Jack Lane at 616-331-8176.

Information and auditions for our 2018 - 2019 season will be coming soon! Our 25th Shakespeare Silver Coronation anniversary show, King Lear, will run September 28 to October 7! Auditions take place April 9 & 10! Click here for details.

End of Semester Theatre Party - April 19 from 5pm to 7pm in HCPA, Room 1721. Food, announcements and friends! And stay afterwards for the Directing II scenes!

Our summer camp for children, Will Power, registration is OPEN! Sign your children up today for the June 25 - 29 or the July 9 - 13 sessions! Will Power Summer Camp is open to children entering the first through sixth grades. Click here to register!

As a part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations in 2018, the Grand Valley Shakespeare Festival plans to produce Defy the Stars, by alumni playwright Scott Watson.
