The Impact of COVID-19 on LGBTQIA+ College Students' Mental Health

The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the mental health of college students, particularly vulnerable populations such as the LGBTQA+ population. LGBTQA+ college students face several barriers when accessing mental healthcare services and resources. Our presentation will highlight several tools and coping mechanisms proven to improve mental health. Session activities will include a mindfulness session and reflection drawing exercises, highlighting how these different exercises support LGBTQA+ college students in improving their mental health.
