Yeehaw! Round up your siblings, kids, nieces, nephews, and family friends; our Wild West-themed Sibs and Kids Weekend is just around the corner! Join us for a pancake breakfast, comedy magic show, carnival, and so much more. Bring your sisters, brothers, or other buckaroos on February 11-13 for a fun-filled weekend. Here are some of the most rootin'-tootin' upcoming activities.
Kirkhof Carnival
Say Howdy to Sibs and Kids Weekend by boot-scootin' down to the Kirkhof Carnival on Friday, Feb 11. There will be food and games from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Russel H. Kirkhof Center lobby. Don’t forget your Sibs and Kids Weekend goodie bag!
Pancakes
Start your Saturday morning right by enjoying some freshly cooked pancakes in the Holton Hooker Multi-Purpose Room from 10-11 a.m. with the Residence Housing Association!

Laker Rodeo
On Saturday, lace up your boots and giddy on up to the Laker Rodeo. Enjoy inflatables and more rodeo fun in the Grand River Room (2250) in Kirkhof.
Comedy Magician
Partner up with your buckaroos and head down to the Cook-Dewitt Center at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Comedian Trent James will wrangle in laughter as he performs a comedy magic show.

World of Winter
Finish your Sibs and Kids weekend by visiting World of Winter in downtown Grand Rapids. Enjoy many outdoor, socially-distanced events throughout the city, including over 40 art installations and 50 ice sculptures. Exploring Grand Rapids is the perfect way to end the weekend.
Celebrate Sibs and Kids Weekend in wild wild West Michigan on February 11-13. Make sure to register your siblings, children, nieces, nephews, cousins, or family friends before Friday, Feb 3, so it is not a “spur” of the moment decision (get it? Spur? Like those spiky things cowboys wear on their boots?).
