This winter, discovering student orgs will be easier than ever! From January 24-27, hundreds of student organizations will be waiting for you in the Kirkhof Center lobby. Stop by the table of a familiar organization that strikes your fancy, or step outside your comfort zone and learn about something new.
Meet new friends!
This semester, many new organizations cannot wait to meet you. QSTEM, Euchre Club, Folk Music Club, Cooking Connections, Filipinx American Student Association, Respiratory Therapy Club, and Students for Choice are all new this year. Give them a warm welcome and be sure to stop by their tables to learn about meetings and upcoming events. You can find the full schedule of orgs attending the showcase here.
Get those beanies!
By attending the Winter Student Org Showcase, you can receive a variety of free things: candy, stickers, GVSU swag, and more! You may even find a pamphlet sneak into your hand so you can check out that student organization later. You’ll also be able to stop by the Office of Student Life table and spin the prize wheel for a chance to win a variety of prizes, including a GVSU beanie!
Chase your interests!
Throughout the week, the Winter Student Org Showcase gives you dozens of chances to pursue your passions. Whether you’re interested in Greek Life, academic success, cultural connections, club sports, advocacy opportunities, or another special interest, the Winter Student Organization Showcase is here to help you be a part of campus life.
If you’re interested in joining a student org or finding out more about involvement opportunities, stop by the Winter Student Org Showcase in Kirkhof from Monday, January 24 through Thursday, January 27. The event will take place from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–8 p.m. each day. If you are a student org E-Board member, you can also register your organization for a table to recruit many of the new and returning students in attendance.
