How to get dementia support and information from home

How to get dementia support and information from home

April 20, 2020 | Caregiver Resources

With the stay-at-home restrictions put in place for everyone’s safety during this time, all in-person classes and events have been cancelled for the next few months. Fortunately, there are several organizations across the state and country that have stepped up quickly to replace those opportunities for education and support with virtual options. This means that caregivers, people with dementia, professionals, and others will find plenty of ways to continue learning about dementia and get tips and assistance for what they are going through right now.

We have compiled all the virtual classes and webinars we could find and listed them for you below. Click the title of each event to see a description and a link to the event website. An updated list of upcoming events, including virtual, can always be found at www.rethinkingdementiami.org/events. If you or your organization is aware of additional resources that should be on this list, please send them to us at [email protected].
