Prof. Rothstein's Research on Union Organization
Jeff Rothstein has been traveling to Madison, Wisconsin to research a union organizing campaign. Sociology Major and McNair Scholar Adrian Llanes accompanied Prof. Rothstein during his summer fieldwork. Three-thousand nurses working for the University of Wisconsin Hospital are attempting to organize a union affiliated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). Their organizing campaign is now in its fifth year!
