Biography

Professor Macaluso is native of Grand Rapids and former GVSU graduate with an interest in local environmental issues. He has a strong interest in environmental issues from the local to global.  Currently, he serves on West Michigan’s Environmental Action Council’s IDEAL community (Inclusion and Development of Environment Allies and Leaders).  He is also the faculty representative for the Michigan Sociological Association, the GVSU Sociology Club and the Alpha Kappa Delta honor society
