Mission/Vision/Values

Mission

The LGBT Resource Center, Military and Veteran Resource Center, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and the Center for Women and Gender Equity recognize and celebrate the multiple and intersecting identities of our learners while working to enrich the campus’s understanding of social justice. We empower our learners to address and navigate systems of oppression and succeed holistically through education, community, support, and advocacy.

Vision

The Social Justice Centers are recognized as places of gravity and respite for our students, particularly those experiencing a matrix of oppression. The centers are leaders in driving critical conversations and analysis around topics of identity, equity, and communal care on campus and beyond so that learners can thrive and achieve success.
