This year, the Regional Math and Science Center is hosting the first "Energizing Our Weekend" event. Please join us for this FREE event for an exciting adventure into the world of renewable energy and sustainability.

When: Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Who: This event is for middle school students, their siblings, and their families

Where: GVSU Allendale campus - Seymour & Esther Padnos Hall (look for the signs - parking is available in lots F & G)

Engage in hands-on activities related to renewable energy/sustainability, take a tour of the Sustainable Agriculture project farm at GVSU on the electric school bus every hour from lot MP, and enjoy 45-minute structured sessions or 45-minute open-house format sessions! Sessions are provided by GVSU faculty and staff as well as community partners such as John Ball Zoo, Frederick Meijer Gardens, and Kent County Parks. 

Bonus: Be sure to be on the look out for Big Red's BBQ Food truck!
