Time is running out to apply for the Summer Modeling Instruction Workshops!

Instead of relying on lectures and textbooks, the Modeling Instruction program emphasizes active student construction of conceptual and mathematical models in an interactive learning community. Students are engaged with simple scenarios to learn to model the physical world.

Stipends will be given for participation.  Visit the Michigan Modeling website for details.  Applications will be accepted until the classes are full.

Classes will be held across the state.  West Michigan sites include Muskegon and Kent County.
