Carla Villasana-Acosta
An International Relations major and Latin American Studies minor, Carla Villasana-Acosta, graduated from GVSU in 2018, after first completing two years of study at Grand Rapids Community College. Fully bilingual, Carla spent her early childhood in Venezuela before coming to Grand Rapids for high school. Carla began working as a Scholarship and Education Assistant with the Grand Rapids Community Foundation soon after graduation. The Foundation funds dozens of students, non-profits, and other community organizations in Kent County.
