Matthew Brainovich

Matthew Brainovich

Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from GVSU in 2013, with a double major in IR and Russian Studies and a minor in Russian language. He studied abroad at the Russian State University in Novosibirsk during the 2012-2013 academic year. In 2014, Matthew interned at the International Peace and Security Institute in Washington, DC. He graduated with a Master’s degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 2016. Matthew also worked as a Corporate Security Consultant at the World Bank while in graduate school. Since 2016, Matthew has been employed as a Program Analyst for the National Preparedness Assessment Division of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
