Aisha Espey
Aisha graduated from GVSU in 2013, earning her degree in International Relations, while participating in a dual-degree program with Krakow University of Economics in Poland and the University of Debrecen in Hungary. During her undergrad years, Aisha also interned at the Council of Hemispheric Affairs in Washington DC.
After graduation, Aisha worked as a flight attendant for Emirates Airlines from 2014-2017. In 2019 she began working for the Meridian International Center in Washington DC, where she served as a Travel Specialist. From 2021 to 2023, she worked for the Israel Trade and Economic Mission in Washington, DC, beginning as a Trade Officer. She was promoted to Director of Commerce, Head of Life Sciences, a role she held until 2023, followed by a promotion in 2023 to Director of Commerce, Head of Science and Technology.
In January of 2024 Aisha worked as the Associate Director of Aerospace and Defense for the Eurasia Group. Beginning in April 2025, Aisha is the Associate Director for both the Global Trade Alert and Digital Policy Alert in Switzerland.
