Shannon Cohen is MLK Day Keynote Speaker

Shannon Ingram Cohen will be one of GVSU's keynote speakers as we
celebrate the life and legacy of M.L. King. Shannon was an IR major
and McNair Scholar who graduated in 1999 (MPA 2011). She is a
motivational speaker, community organizer. and leadership adviser.
Shannon is the co-founder of Sisters Who Lead, and recently was named
among the 2018 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan by the Grand
Rapids Business Journal. She is the author of "Tough Skin, Strong
Heart: A Guide for Growing Stronger, Better, Wiser." Her website

speak on Wednesday, 1/23/19 at 4:30 p.m. in the Pere Marquette Room of
the Kirkhof Center, Allendale Campus.
