FALL PCEC PROJECT DAY

FALL PCEC PROJECT DAY

At the conclusion of each fall and winter semester, the Padnos College of Engineering and Computing (PCEC) invites the Greater Grand Rapids area high schools to the Shape Corp. Innovation Design Center on the PEW campus to interact with PCEC students, staff, and faculty. Hundreds of students, staff and faculty showed up to see the excellence displayed during the Fall 2023 PCEC Project Day.

The PCEC Project Day showcased the work of undergraduate and graduate students in computing, engineering, and occupational safety and health management majors. The projects are a cumulation of what PCEC students learned in the classroom along with soft skills and teamwork. This tradition highlights our students and what they can achieve in a semester, not just during their time at Grand Valley State University.

From the displays presented this year, the People's Choice Award recipients were:

Computing Category: Biblioswap presented by Devin Merchant and Kit Bazner

Engineering/OSH Category: Coolest Team: Follow Me Cooler presented by David Pevic, Jeremy Burns, and Co Nguyen

Student Organization Category: Laker Racing Formula SAE Team

PCEC Project Day wouldn't be a success without our students and their hard work all semester long. We are proud of all the work PCEC students do and look forward to another year of incredible projects and collaborations!
