Scholarship Opportunities
Grand Valley Merit Scholarships
There is a wide variety of merit-based awards for incoming first-year and first-time at Grand Valley students. Most require high academic achievement and are automatically awarded to applicants based on information provided in the student's admission application.
Initial scholarship eligibility is reviewed and determined at the time of admission. An additional consideration for scholarship and/or grant assistance will be determined in mid-January and will be sent out by the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. All applicants are strongly encouraged to file a FAFSA for maximum consideration for grant and scholarship aid.
A complete admissions application must consist of the following:
- Official transcripts
- Results of the ACT or SAT test
- Admissions applications submitted either online or on paper
