Description
Join the University Libraries as we welcome Javier Solorzano Parada, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Mercy College of Ohio, for a facilitated conversation on values and lived experiences in library spaces. Whether you actively use the array of resources the library has to offer, or you use the space to study, the library would like to hear about how our values may or may not be reflected in how you experience our spaces.
The facilitated conversation will aim to create a space where students are encouraged to share their lived experiences. All the stories/experiences shared will remain confidential. The learning from our conversation will support and guide the creation of a Collective Engagement Agreement, a live document that names our commitment to you and our library values. You are welcome to join us virtually or in-person.
Participants of the conversation will receive a thank you gift from the University Libraries for engaging in the conversation! (RSVP required)
