Save the Date: 2026 MII FOLIO Day 

Grand Valley State University Libraries invites you to join colleagues from Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois for MII FOLIO Day, a day dedicated to learning, collaboration, and innovation within the FOLIO Library Services Platform. MII FOLIO Day will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Mary Idema Pew Library on Grand Valley’s Allendale, MI campus. Opening remarks will begin at 10 am.

About the Event

The 2026 MII FOLIO Day will bring together FOLIO community members for presentations, discussions, and hands-on conversations focused on improving and streamlining workflows with FOLIO, innovative implementations across library operations, locally developed add-ons and apps that extend FOLIO’s functionality, and collaborative solutions across departments, institutions, and consortia. 

The day will also feature breakout sessions, functional-area discussions, and an opening presentation from EBSCO Information Services. 

Registration Information

  • Open to: Libraries using, or considering migrating to, FOLIO in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois
  • Priority Registration (for current FOLIO users): April 20 - May 15
  • Open Registration: May 18 - May 29
  • Cost: Free (thanks to EBSCO Information Services and GVSU Libraries!)
  • Capacity: Limited to 80 participants
  • Lunch: Provided by EBSCO Information Services

Proposal Submissions

Please consider submitting a proposal to present at the 2026 MII FOLIO day.  We invite proposals that showcase: 

  • Workflows and process improvements using FOLIO modules or integrations 
  • Innovative applications of FOLIO in library operations, instruction, or resource management 
  • Locally developed add-ons or apps that extend or complement FOLIO functionality 
  • Collaborative projects across departments, institutions, or consortia
  • Panel discussions on a FOLIO-related topic 
  • Anything else FOLIO-related that you think your colleagues would benefit from
