Funding Your Education


Tuition & Fees

Second-degree students will pay upper-division tuition levels and a per credit hour or per course surcharge of $38 for each nursing course.

We estimate the total cost of the program, with additional fees, could be between $30,000 - $33,000.

Financial Aid

We strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment with a Financial Aid Counselor if you plan to use financial aid to cover the full-time Spring/Summer semesters of the program.

Corewell Health Nurse Scholars Program

All admitted students will receive an email invitation to apply. Applications will open on March 22nd, and the deadline to apply will be April 26th (the projected interview date is May 6th). 

  • Earn a grant of $20,000 ($5,000 per semester) to cover the cost of the nursing program.
  • Nurse scholars will be paired with a coach from Corewell Health
  • Commit to two-years continual full-time employment at a Corewell Health West Michigan location after graduation

Pine Rest Academy

Interested students should connect directly with Pine Rest to discuss eligibility and employment opportunities. Employment would need to be secured prior to the start of the program in January.

  • Earn up to $40,000 (up to $10,000 per semester) to cover the cost of the nursing program.
  • Be a current employee of Pine Rest.
  • Commit to two-years of continual work at Pine Rest after graduation.

The majority of scholarship deadlines for the Fall 2024 - Winter 2025 academic year fall between February 15 and May 1st.
