Accepting your seat is contingent upon passing the following courses with a grade of C (not C-) or better prior to the start of the Winter 2026 semester: BMS 251, BMS 212, BMS 213, PSY 364, and STA 215. *

If you are declining your seat, please inform Denise Gross via email at (grossde@gvsu.edu) by Wednesday, October 1, 2025 by by 5:00 pm. *

BMS 305 Clinical Nutrition & BMS 310 Pathophysiology

BMS 305 Clinical Nutrition (3-credits) and BMS 310 Pathophysiology (3-credits) must be completed BEFORE or DURING the first semester of the nursing program. The first semester of the program (Winter 2026) includes the following coursework:

  • NUR 222 Foundations of Nursing Theory (3-credits)
  • NUR 223 Foundations in Nursing: Health Assessment and Clinical Skills (3-credits)
  • NUR 225 Foundations in Nursing Simulation (1-credit)
  • BMS 305 Clinical Nutrition (3-credits)
  • BMS 310 Pathophysiology (3-credits)
